Wolf Pack fall 2-1 in a shootout
Thursday November 19th 2009, 7:12 am

After rallying late in the third to knot the score at one on a Paul Crowder goal, four different Wolf Pack shooters failed to cash in in the shootout and goaltender Chad Johnson stopped just one of the three shots he faced, giving the Binghamton Senators a 2-1 victory at the XL Center in Hartford on Wednesday night.

Friends stopped by to treat our dog — who’s recovering from knee surgery — to a much-deserved treat from his second favorite place on earth, so I missed most of the second and all but the last two minutes of the third period. For the gory details, Brian Ring’s recap on the Wolf Pack’s web site will have to suffice. Or you can check out the box score on the AHL’s site.

The Pack are back at it tonight against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7pm.

On an unrelated note, a stick tap goes to LI Joe, who pointed out that the Rangers have posted video from the teams Season Subscriber Forum. It’s in four parts, here, here, here, and here.
