Per the AHL web site, the New York Rangers have recalled right winger P.A. Parenteau from the Hartford Wolf Pack.  Dane Byers has been returned to Hartford.

Parenteau is currently second in AHL scoring with 20 points, two behind teammate Corey Locke.  His 10 goals lead the Wolf Pack and  tie him for the top spot in the league with Norfolk Admirals winger Brandon Bochenski.  He’s played two games for the Rangers this season, scoring his first NHL goal in his Rangers debut on October 28th against the New York Islanders.

Byers has played five of the last six games for the Blueshirts, missing one game due to an automatic suspension assessed after he received an instigator penalty in the final five minutes of a game in Vancouver on November 3rd.  He scored his first NHL goal in his first game, on October 30th against Minnesota.
