New York Rangers right wing Marian Gaborik and former Hartford Wolf Pack defenseman Ivan Baranka — who remains property of the Rangers as he enters the second year of a two year deal with Spartak Moscow of the KHL — are among a group of 36 players who have been invited to Slovakia’s Olympic training camp. Camp opens on Tuesday, August 4th and includes on- and off-ice workouts, pre-Olympic drug testing, and individual interviews with the coaching staff. The activities culminate with a charity soccer game on Friday, August 7th against current Slovak Extraliga champions HC Kosice, followed by a charity golf tournament on Saturday, August 8th.
