Introducing AHL Live
Wednesday October 08th 2008, 7:50 am

Fans of the New York Rangers who want to keep up with what the prospects are doing in Hartford will now have a new and improved way to do so. AHL Live is the new video service of the American Hockey League, offering on-line live and on-demand video broadcasts of AHL games. AHL Live replaces the video broadcast service previously provided for the AHL by B2 Networks, and is powered by NeuLion, the same company that supplies on-line video content for the NHL. They promise improved video quality for games — those who ever watched a B2 Networks broadcast will know that won’t be difficult — in addition to free highlights from around the league.

AHL Live offers the same viewing options that B2 Networks did previously, including the ability to choose between the home or away audio feed. And it comes at the same price as B2 did last season: $140 for a season pass to see all Hartford Wolf Pack games (early bird price) or you can opt to watch select games for $6 pay-per-view. In addition, if you miss a game, you can now watch the archived version, on demand. For more information or to sign up, visit
