Avangard Omsk have posted a video of Alexei Cherepanov’s last goal, scored at 6:29 of the first period during the game in Chekhov in which he died.

A number of fan-produced video tributes have been put together to honor Cherepanov’s memory. This one is the best.

I know that 15 years from now, I will still think about that kid…

It is a beautiful tribute. Even the music was beautiful. It really shows you that you don’t have to know someone to admire them. I think that we (NY Ranger fans) really missed out on loving someone really special. God Bless Alexis!!
